How to Open the CS2 Console

Enable the Developer Console.

Before players can begin using the cs2 developer console they must activate it in there settings as its disabled by default below is how you can enable the console.

Steps to activate the console:

   Open up Settings

2. 2

   Select the “Game tab”.

3. 3

   Find
   Enable Developer Console
   and select “Yes”.

   Save settings and open the console by pressing the (~) key.

The console does not open?.

Some players run into issues where the console will not open even after activation in settings. If your facing the same issue the fix might be to bind a new key in the settings.

How to Bind the Console:

1. 1

   Open settings and select “Keyboard/Mouse”.

   Select “UI keys”.

3. 3

   Find
   Toggle Console
   and select your key bind.

4. 4

   Save settings and use the key ingame to open console.
